Okay, inspired by keepcalmandwearafez, here’s today’s game plan:
Finish breakfast (mushroom soup and gluten-free crackers, nom)
Do a bit of homework (but not much since I have a tutoring appointment on Tuesday and there’s no sense rushing)
Finish digitizing the rest of those images (with the help of Lady Gaga and Janelle Monae)
Oh! And I also have to go in and see my ex-boss and ask him what he wants from the book sale tomorrow. Yes, I quit for good, and for mostly the same reasons I took my previous sabbatical. The upshot is, we’re still friends (if a 50 year-old and a 21 year-old with a prior business association can be considered friends) and I still get the occasional free book when I bring him snacks. Win/win. The only downside is, I am now officially self-employed, with all the stress and glamor and lack of money that entails. Still glad I did it, though.
In the next n+/-soon weeks, I’ll be setting up my Etsy shop for jewelry and little paintings, and around the same time will have a Super Special Secret tarot deck available, and then the Pin-Up Lenormand, and a couple months after that, the Mathematics Tarot will be ready for sale — given that I can finish my pre-calculus course in the tight timeframe I have designed for myself. But I’ve been vastly, exponentially happier the busier I’ve gotten, so the crash between business and school can get as crazy as it likes. I can handle it.
